HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI Guys, I was busy working on a project. I made some changes in the control panel and ran it on the simulator. When i stopped and re-ran the project, it gave me: "There was a problem parsing some configuration data. Please make sure that it is well formed." This is a link to a screenshot of my console: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/6s2m8uul8g0nelh/9aMxfahNBD What must i do to fix it. I presume it means it cannot get the JSON data from BT? So how can i fix it :( Thanks in advanced! Sean

Is the app in "Live" or "Design" mode. My guess is that it is in "live" mode in your simulator. So either you need to go into the Config file and change the json date to design or publish the changes from your control panel. If it were me (and I do this to all my apps once I submit to the app store) I would change the config.txt to design mode.

The app is in design. Would your solution still help? "lastUpdated":"Mon, 01 July 2013 10:21:12 -0700", "lastPublished":"Wed, 19 Jun 2013 22:25:36 -0700", "name":"Cricketers", "version":"1.0", "currentMode":"Design", "startLocationUpdates":"0", Is that what you were talking about? Any other clues or is that not what you were talking about? Do you know why in the second image it says that cachedAppCofig.txt was deleted? Also, last updated is strange. The simulator is running the app as it was last Monday but i have designed all my menus and icons this weekend and have literally been permanently on BT since last monday and all testing was going well until that appeared a few mins ago....?

Did you try copying the Design mode json data from you control panel and pasting it into Xcode?

If you didn't actually change any of the config file, and only made changes in your control panel, and you're getting that message, it's possible you've entered some illegal character into one of your strings. Copy the config file into a page at jsonlint.com and see if it returns 'valid'. If not, it should point pretty close to where the issue lies... Hope that helps! Cheers! -- Smug

SmugWimp and bfoutty, YOU ARE GREAT! :) Both your solutions helped. It was a menu row i had created that invalidated it. Once i deleted the menu row, i copied the JSON from BT to Xcode and Voila! All operational again!!! Thanks for all the help!!!! :) You made my day!
