Why I'm hoping Android doesn't change too much

The nice thing about vacation? Getting to do some catch-up work on Buzztouch. Here's what I accomplished today for Android. http://youtu.be/33PUnUGxtzg

I should add - the animations are choppy because my computer doesn't like recording video while running the emulator :)

Chris, I love the fact that you embrace vacation as buzztouch time. LOL. Looks awesome. Figured that the video was making it choppy. Surprised that you were actually able to make it look exactly the same via Android. Very cool, bet a lot of people will be happy to see this :) Cheers mate. David https://buzztouchmods.com

Still need to do a little work to connect all the same control panel properties, but that's pretty minor. So here's a question: Would people be willing to pay for this again, in the form of an "Animated Circle Menu for iOS & Android" plugin?

I would expect those who already purchased the plugin to expect this to be a update (free). Of course, if you think your time is worth money (which is is) I would suggest a "upgrade" fee. Don't think the market is set up for something like that, I think somewhere it says specifically that updates HAVE to be free. (could have sworn I read this in the terms somewhere) Coding for Android is not easy. I would be willing to pay again to have the updated plugin for both iOS and Android. Sales would increase naturally for any plugin that is compatible for both. Personally if I ported any of MY plugins to Android I would die if I couldn't charge my existing customer base for that huge annoying update - LOL. David https://buzztouchmods.com

yeah - i had to write this one from the ground up - no open-source projects to work from this time! (of course, I had to basically rewrite the iOS version initially too). It would be nice if there was a way to charge for major updates to the plugin market, but there's no way to do that now. That would make this an easy decision. :)

Can't wait to get my hands on that. Sure I'd pay. Do what you have to do, to make it worth your time.

I would pay for that !! maybe put it up as a new plugin available for both platforms, or as an addition for the difference of the price between the new and old, I suspect the new would cost more. Nice stuff Chris !!

I agree with @Kaybee. I would be more than willing to buy anderoid version but i wouldnt buy both anderoid and iOS again. Cant you put it on the plugin market as an anderoid only and post in the forums anyone with the iOS version has 14 days to buy the "NEW VERSION" - NOT UPDATE. After 14 days you put them together and anyone that didnt buy it, well, their loss!!!! Great stuff.....well done!

very cool. I would certainly pay for it. I would also love to know how you did that. I am learning java just now, but I am some way off being able to do anything like that... :)

That's the beauty of plugins - once you buy them, you get full access to the code to see how it's done! :)
