Menu with image crash

Hi all, Ive tried to update this plugin while the app is live. I have the header image built into the project. Works a dream. When I update the header image with a url location, again it loads like a dream. If, however, the app is closed, it will not load, stalls on the default splash screen then crashes. If you close the app 3 or 4 times, eventually it will load. I know this update is the one causing the fail as ive returned the app to the original header and it works fine again. Does anyone else know of this issue or are able to offer a fix please? All the best

what is the filesize of the 'new' header? I use menu with image off the internet, and so far I've had no issues. I use a rotating banner kind of php script so it loads different images each load... works for me. my 'banners' are not the typical size, I resized them (and made internal adjustments to the plugin) for a 1536 x 360 (and proportionately smaller) and my images run between 130k-180k in size. Not sure if it will help, but more information is better. Cheers! -- Smug

Thanks for the replies guys. Its not a big image, 640x300 @ 392KBs. Maybe I somehow need to make it an even smaller file? @chris - I still havent gotten my head around design/online mode, thus I dont think I can debug it as it is.

Don't need to worry about design/live mode just yet. Just copy what the debug output shows and paste it here
