buying and using a plugin

hey! As you can see I am new here, so this question may seem really obvious to you guys, but I haven't found confirmation of this anywhere thus far, so I thought I would ask... When I buy a plugin, can I use it with as many apps as I want, or do I need to buy it again for each app that I want to use it with? Thanks in advance

Hey There, No question is obvious to everyone ;) Yip the good news is once you have it you can use it as many times as you want !! i know it doesn't seem legit that the plugins are so cheap, but they are. I LOVE PLUGIN DEVELOPERS, they make my life easy and making apps even easier and quicker. I have a general rule, it is download every plugin and equip myself to do amazing apps Enjoy and welcome

thanks for the fast reply. And it was the answer I was hoping for!!! I also like your thinking about arming yourself with every plugin. I am keen to become a member and probably will buy the plugins like you said, but I want to make sure I can produce something half way decent first. Learning about BT in my spare time means that its taking me a while to wrap my head around the basics. Once I see something concrete and useful on an emulator I will be much more confident about spending money... Thanks again. :)

Sure thing, Listen I don't know one line of code and I have 5 apps on the app store, and have done another 5 private apps for local small businesses, trust me you will pay off the membership fees, apple fees, plugin fees, very very quickly. Make sure you attend a new user webinar and also check out all the old webinars and will learn a great deal. There are some amazing people on this forum that are willing to share and help you along the way. Enjoy

i didn't realize that the old webinars were available. I will need to check that out.... I am keen to get a few apps under my belt. But I have a history of thinking big and not following through - and this is way too important to me to not get right. So one step at a time... build myself an app - make sure I can do it first!!!! BTU is awesome. the support from the community is awesome. if there is an archive of webinars then that's even better!!

David has a most excellent 'How to build a plugin' video on youtube. It opened my eyes to the possibilities, which are only limited by me. Sometimes that's an issue. :) But start off looking at what's available, and wrap your head around that. The cool thing is, you get the source code as well, so you can experiment as much as you want making plugins doing nifty little extras. Before you know it, you'll be designing your own stuff! Cheers! -- Smug

that's where I want to get in the long term, Smugwimp. And I am itching to check out how to make plugins and organize self hosting. But I am intentionally holding back because I know I will overwhelm myself... I know I will be able to master this, but I need to learn it right and not rush things. If I get this right, it could be life changing for me and my family. That's the goal

Hey, and welcome. Yes, buzztouch is the best. I have no programing knowledge and I also have some apps on app store. It gets easier and its super cool and fun. If you need any help setting up self hosted, just say. Cheers. Miguel
