Right click the project, Select Android Tools and click on Fix Project Properties. Hope this helps, yell if it doesn't! Cheers! -- Smug

Yes, @SmugWimp's suggestion should solve your problem.

Finally getting back to working on this... I think that fixed that error message but now I'm getting a another one :( Could not save master table to file '/Users/ib_drew/Documents/workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.safetable/org.eclipse.core.resources'. /Users/ib_drew/Documents/workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.safetable/org.eclipse.core.resources (No such file or directory) I went into the folders and could get to org.eclipse.cor.resources but there is no .safetable .... in that folder. Should I repackage the app on buzztouch or what can I do? Plus I'm getting a bunch of map.java errors. I'm sure it has something to do with google api but not sure what to do. Your help would be appreciated! Thanks

Hmm, it sounds odd... If you haven't done too much to the code, then I'd try a repackage/redownload of the project. But be prepared; if it's one of those temperamental Eclipse errors, you may have to clean out your workspace and start a new one. Cheers! -- Smug

@smugwiimp, It is weird! The original version I made for iPhone opened and ran in the simulator just fine but of course visually I had to do image changes....So I recreated an "android" version and it is exactly the same as the first version so I'm not sure why I'm getting all these new errors :-( When I first tried to import the app it gave me an error saying that it was a duplicate so I cleaned out the workspace to be able to import. I'll try and repackage/redownload and let you know. T.

It's hard (for me) to pinpoint Android issues... It may be that I'm on a mac, or it may be that I lack the intellect, lol! But there are a lot of hidden files that go on behind the scenes, and so 'remnants' can sometimes be left behind. I've wiped a lot of workspaces and reimported a lot of projects trying to get things right again. I haven't been able to find any pattern on *what* goes wrong the most, so it's hard to keep on top of that sort of thing... Good Luck, and let us know how you fare! Cheers! -- Smug

From the error you are getting, it seems that you are missing some sort of plugin. I would suggest you to check for updates and probably this might solve your problem. To check for updates from update manager, follow following steps- # Click on Help --> Check for Updates. (in older eclipse ---> Window --> Preferences --> Install/Update). # If updates are found, proceed through the install wizard and click Finish at the end. The new eclipse does not allow the same name of projects to be imported again. All the bt projects are named as BT_activity_root. So when you try to import another bt project in eclipse, it will throw the error message stating project with same name already exist in the workspace. The easiest option is to rename the project with your app name. I rename my bt projects like this- BT_My_App_Name. This way next time i import another bt project in to workspace, it will not say duplicate project. To rename your project right click on your bt project --> Refactor--> Rename. Recently i have updated the android adt to version 22 and i too am getting errors in all my projects, bt and non- bt. I still have not checked whats causing the error because of busy schedule. But if you too are having the same problem, i would be able to tell you more on it only when i myself check it out first.

@SmugWimp, I'm on a mac as well. All I can say is that the more I try and use Eclipse the more I like Xcode!! @Sandeep, I havent updated to version 22. I think I may wait to do that update until I can at least figure out the issues I'm having at the moment. Please let us know when you figure out why you're getting the new errors from doing the update. I'm going to keep playing with it and hope I do something right, lol. Thanks

Been having similar issues and unable to launch the app. Like you Sxywebgirl (that seems a little wired saying that) I to think Xcode is so much better and easier to use. I hate Android, but still have to provide a service for this platform. I wish Apple would buy out Android and change it to xcode.

@Dragon007, Lol, that is funny you commented on "that seems a little weird saying that" just the other day my BF said I should change my name to something different. I've used that name for so long that I dont think twice about it. I guess a new name could be coming in the future, just not sure what that does to my history with this name. Eclipse is just acting weird * It said it didn't have a path to the sdk (which I'd set up when I installed eclipse to begin with) * Lost all connections with the avd's I'd added * Now is saying that I need to do an update fromVs 21.1 to 22 but when I check for updates I'm told no new updates found!) I'm going to do a fresh install of Eclipse on my macbook pro and see if the same errors show up. Let me know if you figure out a fix to your issues so I may try it as well.
