Menu with Image Plugin - Header image error

I have prepared an image that is 1536 x 720 pixels and called it abc.png. I added it to the BT_Images folder in Xcode and added it in the header image section on BT and ran the project. When i run the project on my device i dont get the image coming up rather its just a blank screen. Do i need to add the image name somewhere in the code somewhere rather? What am i doing wrong?

The image name is entered into the Menu With Image control panel... look for the panel marked "Header Image". You can enter a filename that will be included in the bundle, 'or' a URL for an image. Not both. Cheers! -- Smug

I did this. I even changed the file name to have no spaces or special characters and all lowercase. Still get nothing.

Hmm... you shouldn't have to do anything special to the filename, other than adhere to the usual naming conventions... But everyone uses that plugin, so we know it works. Let's figure out why yours is not showing. 1) You have an image to use entered in the control panel. (for instance "myimage.png", no 'path'. only a filename.) 2) You don't have both filename and URL. You have one, or the other. Not both. 3) the filename is in the filename text box, not the URL text box. 4) It's not a gif. It's either a PNG or a JPG 5) you didn't 'copy' the file into your xcode/android project, you 'added' it. (see https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/Adding_Files_To_A_Project_v1.0.pdf) If you did all of this, it should work. If it still doesn't work, try a URL, and try a different image. During testing, don't worry about the 'size'. Once you see an image up there, you can fiddle with the details. Always get it to work, then after it works, we can make it pretty. Cheers! -- Smug

Smug, 1. Yes i named it abc.png and added it in the control panel under header image 2. I added it under image file name not URL. 3. See 2 4. I called the filename abc.png however the png is lowercase not uppercase. Does that matter? 5. I added in the correct way as show by david but i added it into the BT_Images folder not BT_Docs.

Case matters with respect to 'asking' for the resource. If it's abc.png you shouldn't ask for Abc.png, but abc.png - the usual stuff... sounds like you've got most of the bases covered though... It sounds like you 'should' see it. But if you're not, is the image corrupt? does it work in your other apps? Cheers! -- Smug
