I've been going round and round on this. I have an app I'm building and it's got a few features that exploit BT's versatility by building the config file on a separate site. I had it all working but decided I wanted to add tabs and because the tab images need to be local I had to rebuild the app. It came up once in the emulator and since then has failed to run. I get a config file error on the emulator and on a real phone it brings up the app with no content and no tabs. I've backed out all my stuff to no avail. I've created a brand new, bare bones app that is pure Buzztouch and I get the same errors. I figure, therefore, that something has changed in the development environment (osx) but I can't work out what. Hi Sarah, It looks like the app is actually running in the simulator, which is good. Now we just need to figure out what's going on. Are you able to get any output from LogCat in Android Studio? Knowing what it's saying would help us greatly. From that we can help debug further. Let us know what you see there! Mark

Hi Mark I've been fighting fires in other tasks all week. I can't get logcat to give me anything at all. Nothing, nada. If it did I might be able to work it out.

I get these Gradle Errors Error:(3) Error retrieving parent for item: No resource found that matches the given name 'android:TextAppearance.Material.Widget.Button.Inverse’. Error:(18) Error retrieving parent for item: No resource found that matches the given name 'android:Widget.Material.Button.Colored’. E/lowmemorykiller: Kernel does not support memory pressure events or in-kernel low memory killer Damn! went back and the history was gone and now can repeat the error in the simulator but can't see the errors in the log.

Hi Sarah, Would you be willing to send me your project files so I can run it through Studio on my end? Maybe I can get LogCat to show me something!
