Excel Macros and Formulas for Android

Will excel macros and formulas work? Will the webworksheet product work for Android? If converting to HTML does that mean I need to have WiFi or 3G service? I simply have an Excel worksheet with macros and formulas and I'd like to put it on an Android without WiFi for 3G, Will it work? Just wanted to ask before I try this and start banging my head against the wall trying to get something to work that never will. Thanks in advance

Hi JayW, First of all, Welcome to Buzztouch! Second: If you are trying to use the Excel Doc (http://www.buzztouch.com/plugins/plugin.php?pid=0C9B77D00CCC85B88853CED) plugin, you will be prompted with a message asking the user to open the document in a native application. I would try the HTML approach. If your version of Excel supports exporting to HTML, this may be your best option. (I would use either the Custom URL, HTML Doc, or HTML Doc Pro) As far as the data: If it is just numbers, it should be okay, if you have a lot of images in the document (over 5 megabytes) I would consider packaging the document within the app. Does this help? Jake

Thanks Jake, I'm using Excel 2010 so I'm hoping it will be able to export to HTML. No pics involved, just numbers. Never tried exporting to HTML but I'll give it a shot. I have a small version of my spread sheet so if it works I'll put the time into finishing it and all will be good. If anyone else has gone down this road I'd appreciate the feedback. Cheers

One more idea: If you are exporting to HTML, try to make the page as small (width) as possible. If it is not, it may be hard to read. Jake
