New Xcode error

I upgraded to 4.6.3 whenever it came out. I went to archive a new app so that I could submit it to the App Store and I got this new warning that prevented it from passing validation in Xcode: Warning: all apps should include an armv7 architecture (current ARCHS = "armv7s"). I have done nothing different than I have done previously. I checked my other apps, including one I successfully archived, validated, and submitted this past Saturday and they are all getting this new dependency warning. Has any one else seen this?

Also getting this: iPhone/iPod Touch: application executable is missing a required architecture. At least one of the following architecture(s) must be present: armv7 (-19033)

I solved this problem by performing this action which I found on stack overflow: Solved this problem by setting Architectures to armv7 only and changing Deployment Target to 4.3. I hope this helps. Not sure about apps developed for 5.0 or 6.0.

Glad you got it worked out. I'm running 4.6.3 also, but hadn't experienced that issue. Looking on my projects, they're listing 'armv7, armv7s' as valid architecture. I guess they're not including armv6 in anything anymore... Cheers! -- Smug

I have a problem on 4.6.3 xcode too. Today I built an app, downloaded it - it compiled and ran just fine. Then I tried an older project. I went to recompile it, it was OK on the simulator and my 5.1.1 iPod touch, but didn't work on my new iphone 5 with 6.1.4. Tomorrow I' m going to download it from my CP and build it from scratch.
