What activities is it going to share

@SmugWimp - it's a Share Intent in Android. The intent uses any sharing facility the user has on their device, shown in a list. Only a few lines of code too, for a change!

@Kittsy: it will perform these activities with the images which are specified in the control panel. Jake

So it's gonna be like a combined invisible Facebook and twitter but with the ability to print the image or copy it a contact or to your phone.

Just seen post, like the idea but was a little confused about what you can share, but Jake has explained now, was wondering what I could use it for.

Here is the information: It works similar to the Invisible Facebook and Twitter plugins, however, it has the native pop up. Before this plugin, if you wanted to accomplish this task, you would need several plugins, each configured separately: 1. Menu Plugin to Display Sharing 2. Icons of Twitter, Facebook, Mail and Facebook 3. Facebook Plugin 4. Twitter Plugin 5. Email Plugin 6. Message Plugin App Requires iOS 6, or the Facebook and Twitter Plugins do not show. With this new ShareController plugin, if the user is on iOS 5, an alert will show telling them iOS 6 is needed to view this plugin. I hope this helps to clarify about my plugin, Jake

I understand what the UIActivityController is I've used it and its many GitHub variations. I have used this to create more dynamic sharing such as printing PDFs and copying ghem to Dropbox from the PDF plugin. Sharing the web views of the RSS feeds. Posting triathlon times and quiz and games scores to Facebook, twitter and google+.sharing images from the gallery plugins I was just wondering what it would share and how entwined it would be with the plugin it was used with. It will be cool not to have to input multiple share info for app publicity.

So, it shares what the developer wants shared? This would eliminate the need for quite a few other plugins.

Looks great Jake! Sorry to have you answer this question again, but I'm still confused on "what" it shares. Let's say I want it to share text. Will it only share the text that I enter into the control panel? Or can it pull from what's on the screen (like say the URL for the currently loaded webView). I'm guessing not, as that would seem to be pretty custom coding based on the type of screen being shown. But thought I'd ask. Same type of thing with images.

@chris1: I suppose you could add a function to another plugin which calls my plugin, and that function could set the URL to be that which was loaded. Alternative Solution: If you wanted to share a URL (and you know it ahead of time) in a WebView, you could just configure it to share the same URL. Jake

Yep - would be a pretty easy mod to make to a plugin to dynamically call yours with the desired text.

@chris: I was thinking of an idea: We (as a community) could start interconnecting the plugins, so one developer could make a "plugin" to a "plugin." If you had a really great mod to an existing plugin, you could sell it, or incorporate it into another complete plugin. What do you think? Jake

Yeah - we haven't come up with a good way to do that yet, huh? I had originally proposed the idea of making plugin 'add-ons', where you would include only the files that you modified. Thus, the buyer would have to already own the first plugin, since yours would point to its files. But, that got messy and we (Buzztouch leadership team and I) decided it was best to sell those as separate, complete plugins. (Think of my Menu Image Advanced plugin - it's really a mod of Susan's plugin, which is really a mod of the Menu Simple plugin). That being said, we could offer 'do-it-yourself' mod's for plugins, or offer to sell our services to make the mods for people. In fact, Kittsy and I have already been doing that, though it's not a formalized process.
