Tabatoo now in optional SDK packaging - anyone use it?

I am about to compile a new app, and noticed something different in the optional SDKs - a system called Tabatoo. I found one thread on it here, but it doesn't have a whole lot of detail, and what is there isn't very promising: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=93E9CA297337E83F54D00BE&currentPage=69 So, has anyone integrated Tabatoo into their apps, specifically for monetization, and what are your results?

Not much (any) help, haven't used it, but I checked it out in Suvinay's app a while ago, to be honest I thought it all looked a bit spammy. But maybe it was Suvinay's app! lol! I'm sure BT would only work with ethical networks though and I guess BT must have positive results, or they wouldn't partner with them.

I sort of feel the same way, raveyd. Just looking at their website, I'm just not sure about them

Interesting - on the how to page, David just put up a PDF on how to integrate it. It must be on the up and up... https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/Tabatoo-Android-Sidebar-BuzzTouch-1.0.7-01.pdf

They must be trusted by BT then. I notice in the PDF they only require a couple of regular permissions, that's always a good sign. Maybe we've mis-judged them? I think permissions are starting to make a bigger difference in the marketplace. I see more and more apps with airpush, revmob, startapp and all the rest get horrendous feedbacks because of all the intrusive permissions and aggressive advertising. Perhaps Tabatoo is a new wave and we need to catch up!

Interesting indeed. The guys over were persistent that I try them in my android apps. If its trusted by BT I guess they are ok. If you try can you post your opinion about it later @Daniel? @raveyd - i agree and the last two comments in one of my apps mentioned virus :( that app is high quality but of course contains ads.. sucks

@mysps, yes some of my apps are the same, leadbolt and airpush the culprits. My avg always detects them as adware when I install them, I have the option to ignore, or stop the install. I'm beginning to wonder how many people don't install apps when they see something like that and how much of a user base I'm missing out on... Then some of the users who do install leave 1 star and and abusive messages! So Tabatoo might not be such a bad idea? Just a couple of regular permissions, the same as admob and I for sure get no bad feedback because of admob. Maybe less earnings per user, but offset by a possibility of more users and better feedback, leading to better placement and more installs... hmmmm..

I have some apps that have terrible reviews because of RevMob, and they're good quality apps. This may be a good option

yeah revmob has sucked from the very beginning with Android for me. I've had more luck with applovin lately.. what about scringo? now that it has full interstitial ads? i might give an app a whirl with both tabatoo and scringo with ads. we shall see!
