Kickstart a New Podcast

Anyone interested in helping me kickstart a new podcast? I've been meaning to start this podcast for a while, and have a specific agenda/format in mind. And the idea for the podcast is: - I interview new and seasoned app developers - it will have a set format so interviewees will have time to prepare answers to questions ahead of time. - no longer than 30 mins. - the podcast will be based mostly (but not limited to) Buzztouch. We may talk about HTML5/jQuery, design software, or any other tools you have used. - there will be actionable tips/advice that new and aspiring app developers who listen to the podcasts can take away. If you have at least 1 app published in either the iOS app store or the Android marketplace, I'd like to interview you. Interviewees will get some great free publicity for their apps and business, and goodwill by sharing tips and advice. Please let me know if you would be willing to be interviewed. You can PM me your personal contact details. Thanks, and looking forward to hearing from you. Steve

Hi Steve, Have you ever listened to the buzzcast podcast? It's exactly the same thing you're planning on doing (interviews, tips, etc), it's become quite popular and has 20+ somewhat episodes featuring all kinds of seasoned developers and founders like David Book. https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/buzzcast/id537332737 Instead of doing the same thing, I suggest either making yours different, perhaps adding your own unique spin that would make the podcast your own, so that we wouldn't have to listen to the same thing twice. OR you could perhaps message Stobe and see if you could collaborate a little in a few episodes, if you already have formats and questions, or contacts for interviews, that might be useful. Cheers mate, excited to see you dive deeper into buzztouch with ideas like this, and looking forward to seeing what you end up doing. David https://buzztouchmods.com

@MrDavid. I know about the BuzzTouch podcast. And have listened to all episodes (I should have mentioned that in my original post above). It's a great podcast, but this will NOT be the same and will NOT be duplicating it. I have a specific format/questions/ideas in mind that I hope will help new & aspiring developers. I need developers to step forward so they can be interviewed. And, as I mentioned, it will not be totally limited to BuzzTouch but also touch on other topics. Cheers @ictguy. Thanks. I see you've published a few apps. Want to be my 1st interviewee? :-) Cheers

Hi Steve, Thanks for the offer but I think you may want to get off on the right foot, so perhaps someone else would be a better choice ;) I assumed your podcast would be different and I was interested in that you were going to touch on some of the other areas that buzztouch developers can use like jquery mobile, css, tools, software etc. These aren't strictly buzztouch but hugely important in putting apps together. Looking forward to the first episode! BTW I've listened to all the buzzcast ones as well. cheers

@ictguy. No worries. Yes, you definitely hit the nail on the head there :-) I'd like to delve into tools & software not directly related to BuzzTouch, but that could be immensely useful. Let's hope I get some test subjects...uh, I mean, volunteers :-) LOL. Cheers
