Newbie Question about control panel instructions -- ??

Howdy-- i am on a windows 7 machine and i am about to try to make my first demo app here-- i see where it says this: "It's best to design and build your app with the iOS Simulator Running." And i want to ask-- is that only if i am using an Apple computer ? ( i know most folks are probably, but not me ). If i am using a Windows OS do i need to launch the Android Emulator ? The reason i ask is that i am wondering if this means that i can open the iOS Simulator on the control panel somehow even if i am using a windows OS machine. I didn't see anyway to do a forum search for this topic-- or, would have and am grateful for any reply or help at all. kind regards, mark-p.

Hi Mark if you are going to build an iOS app, you will need a Mac. Android you will be fine to build on a Windows machine.

Yes, that is true and thanks. What i was asking is this-- do those instructions mean that if i AM on a windows machine-- do i need to be running the Android emulator in the same way i would be running the iOS simulator ?? ( i HOPE that is what it means anyway. ) kind regards, mark-p.

From what I hear, its often better to test and develop Android apps on an actual android device if you have access to one. Their emulator is not quite up to par with Apple's.
