How to make a menu with RSS feeds

Okay, so I'm migrating over to buzztouch after using appmakr for a few years. I'm a high school journalism teacher and we were able to wade our way through creating and distributing an app. I'm trying to emulate what we created there here, but wasn't sure the best way to go about doing it. I am fine with purchasing some of the plug-ins to accomplish this goal, but didn't really know which ones would work best. Our app is already in the app store, if you search Norseman me you will find it so you can see what we are trying to recreate here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You could absolutely recreate your app here. Start with a menu list screen and add other plugins (like the RD simple RSS). http://www.buzztouch.com/plugins/ You can even easily add your Socialize toolbar.

Yep - the Simple RSS plugin should do what you're needing. You may find that there's better ways of displaying content other than RSS though. That's what's great about Buzztouch - it's easy to use, but very powerful and flexible.

If you use andy special features with your RSS (like description of images) make sure you know the XML Data Points so the Simple RSS plugin can generate text and Images. Jake
