iOS 6 to iOS 7 advice

What is your advice for now? leave our apps as they are, and see what is going to happen with plugins and all the code need to be changed so our apps work flawlessly, or try to get ready for iOS 7 release? If we change graphics in our apps how will they look in older iOS versions? Should we install Xcode 4 together with Xcode 5 and compare the app versions? Can we have different graphics for apps in iOS 7 and different for older iOS ? I'm planning to release my first app till 31st July. Should I wait? Or the transition will be easy enough to do?

I believe the transition will be easy. iOS 7 will require some User Interface updating (a little frustrating at first) but it will be worth it in the end. As of right now, you can send in apps for iOS 6 (Until [my estimate] August 21st). When iOS 7 comes out, you can send in an update and your users will get the latest version. I recommend downloading the beta and testing your apps. Jake

I was able to test iOS 6 apps on iOS 7 using apps on the app store compiled under iOS 6 and Xcode 4.6.2. Jake

I believe it should be pretty easy. That said, I also believe 'if it isn't broke, don't fix it'. At least until after July 31st. Cheers! -- Smug
