Android drawable xxhdpi folder

Greeting, As per title, new android devices like Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z all comes with 1080X1920 resolution. Anyone manage to add an xxhdpi folder to eclipse? Regards, Cyrus

@ LA, It's nice to hear from you. The information you provided was indeed very useful. I have now solved the background images display on different screens by adjusting its density. Cheers Cyrus

So did you create the folder yourself? And then the image size to that appropriate device spec?

@mysps, android won't able to load the images from the xxhdpi folder even if you add one. Well, at least not automatically. What it does basically just scale up all the images in drawable-xhdpi folder. If you only have a simple app. It shouldn't be any issue. If you have menu button screen in your app. You might want to follow the thread that I have posted on the other day. The button sizes and margins are all messed up with the new released mobile with extra extra high resolution destiny (1080X1920). Because android loads the button images from drawable-xhdpi. It means all the button sizes and margins that you have created would literally became smaller. https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=A77DDEFD404AA18F5AC691E&fid=BC70C36A743CD4FAD95D17F&sortColumn=FT.id&sortUpDown=DESC&currentPage=1

Awesome @Cyrus_8888! Your exactly right with scaling up and it will scale down also. Like you said about a simple App, I put mine in the medium and it usually scales up or down. Many people try to over think this and it will drive a person bonkers..lol LA
