App video demo

BT COmmunity, I see alot of people when demo'ing new apps/plugins (Usually kittsy on youtube) create a video of what is basically the simulator demo'ing functionality. My question is: how do i do it? What software do you use to create a demo video? Thanks Steve

If you're using a Macintosh, Quicktime player has a screen recorder built in. I bought a copy of "IShowU HD" that I'm actually not thrilled with, but it works. It's Java based and it has that 'springy' feel about response time that I can't stand. Cheers! -- Smug

I use reflector http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/ That way you can show the camera working it has built in recording it also reacts to rotation. You need airplay enabled phone or ipad
