Self hosted Error! Error (3)

I get Error! Error (3) when I click on the "check for updates" link in my plug in admin screen (self hosted). This is happening on every single plug in I have installed-running v2.1.8

Is this a new installation? Which file does it reference when it gives you the error? Cheers! -- Smug

It's not a new installation. The check for update links were functioning as they should last week an I have changed nothing since then. I am not sure what you are asking- I am in the self hosted admin dashboard- click on Manage Plugins, then the check for updates link and that is where the error appears. ex: Name Version Category Send Email v1.0.2 Action check for updates Error! Error (3) Connect a Send Email action to a menu item or button to load the devices native email compose sheet. You can pre-fill the subject line and to-address.

I just upgraded to 2.1.8 and had the same issue. Try clicking the "Plugin Maintenance (Add, Remove, Refresh)" link at the top of that page. Go to "Download Plugins from your buzztouch.com Control Panel" and update plugins from there, then refresh. The original error should go away after that.

Finally got rid of all the errors by downloading every single plugin and reinstalling on via the control panel-except for the one that appears for the Image Gallery plug in (couldn't find that one to download again).
