You'll get it, stick with it. Where are you adding the images, what folder?

You are going to be putting them in res/drawable. You'll see a few folders there for different devices/screen sizes.

@MacApple is the man! Make sure you stick with the a_z0_9 naming convention (no spaces, special characters, capital letters) with all your Android files. That'll prevent problems in the future. Mark

No problem buddy, you just happened to catch me waiting for coffee! Glad you got it. We all go through the same kind of problems so never hesitate to ask, believe me, I still shout for help all the time. Sounds words above as well about the naming convention, will save further headaches down the line. Peace gents.

I'm having same issue, background image not showing up. I've placed my image 'tower_bk.png' file into all drawable-* folders, still nothing. I simply just copied the image to the folders using Finder (Mac), should I have imported the image through Eclipse instead? Working with a Nexus 7. Thanks!

I pasted it while my project was open in eclipse. I didn't think about closing and restarting eclipse, I'll give that a shot. Xcode has me spoiled. :-)

Found the issue. I guess the Nexus 7 is considered a large device and I had 'Image Name Large Device' blank.
