If you integrate scringo then the picture of the video is all blank though you can hear the audio and see the progess bar. With the help of Scringo support team i was able to fix this. So just wanted to share for other androiders who might even get stuck at this point. To fix this just add videoView.setZOrderOnTop(true); at the end of your onCreate method just before it closes.
