Is Scringo worth the trouble to add?

I am about ready to submit an iPhone app, and am holding on putting Scringo in it. Is the benefit you get from it worth the effort?

IMHO, I have it in a couple of apps, but the usage of Scringo is extremely low. I even set up chat topics etc, but no go. I somewhat think people forget it's there, so I added a menu button that shows an Alertmenu then cancels itself, that way they can 'pick it' too. I don't doubt in the right setting it's great for people, I just haven't had any apps hot enough to have it generate that level of traffic. It's pretty though :)

I haven't added Scringo to any of my apps so far. There's been too many reports of bugs for me to have any desire to implement it. Perhaps one day it will be a great solution. Or perhaps one day one of my apps will really need the social networking component. But for now, I'm just fine without it.

I would say definitely - I used to be a die hard Socialize user but I have now completely abandoned ship and moved over to Scringo. Like Chris1 said, you might come across a bug every now and then, but if you let them know about it it will get fixed quick. The new chat room feature is really cool..I have actually gotten 5 star reviews where people mention the chat room as an awesome app feature. On top of all that, there's really not much "effort" in implementing it. It's worth a shot Oh and also, they have great interstitial ads. I've had a $16.00 eCPM average since my new app released 3 days ago. I expect that to go way down, but even if it settles around $5 that's still awesome

@mysps - Yeah, same for me..they are still working on getting the live stats up and running The only way I know those figures is because they emailed them to me. If you are really curious to know yours you could try sending them an email. I wouldn't spread that around though..they probably wouldn't get anything done if they were emailing revenue reports every day :P

Cool. I may rethink this then. I was going to make my app paid, but maybe I can get the same revenue from the ads. I did use RevMob for a while, and got horrible reviews on my app because the ads got to be very intrusive. The earnings were decent, but reviews were bad. When I tweaked the ad to make it show up less, my earnings shot way down. Problem. Does Scringo handle that better? Do any of you still do a pro version of your app with no ads that people have to buy and a free version with ads??? Than you all for the feedback.

Absentia - thanks. Is there any trick to getting Scringo interstitials to show? I updated the SDK and selected show when entering new screen in my dashboard, but I cannot get full screen ads when I test on simulator or device. thanks
