Splash Screen & Launch Images. Some Info, Feedback and Suggestions

So, on my journey to get this app out the door, I tried the Splash Screen plugin, and although it works great, I ended up not using it. Here is what I found in my testing: - since there are 4 different sizes for the "launch image" on an iPad (portrait/landscape and retina/non-retina), the plugin doesn't quite allow for the sizing of these 4 sizes. - every time you hit the REFRESH button on the top left of the home screen, the Splash Screen would pop up again. Although this is probably the way it is supposed to work, I preferred not to have that. Suggestion: maybe add the ability to add the various sizes of the launch images for iPhone/iPad into the control panel options. I've noticed that some plugins are designed primarily for the iPhone; would be great if they also worked well on the iPad (so we can create a "universal" app). And give the user the ability to disable showing the splash screen after the app has already launched. So, I created the iPhone/iPad "launch images" using the method outlined at: http://beageek.biz/how-to-create-launch-images-app-xcode-ios/

This is not working for me. My ipad portrait and ipad landscape retina remain black fields in Xcode even though I went through the steps correctly. The other images appear to be working but don't work properly in the simulator.
