New to the community

Very friendly community, I see! I'm a fine art photographer who is interested in creating an Android App for my business and currently have the Basic membership. Everything in Eclipse has been configured properly and I have successfully created my first app shell. Question: It looks very 'plain Jane,' so to speak. Can we do a lot of customization? Where would be a great place in the Forum to seek out example ideas to jump start the creative thinking juices? Any other photographers out there?

Welcome @Jeff Campbell! I'm pretty good with Eclipse/Android so if you need any assistance or have questions don't hesitate to post in the forums. LA

LA, Thanks, and will do. We all have to start somewhere and I'm learning as I go along. May take years to get this app developed and, by then, it will have to be changed, no doubt :-)

Welcome! I wouldn't say buzztouch is 'cookie cutter', far from it, but out of the box there is a sort of generic look to Android apps (iOS apps imo look far better out of the box). The good thing though is that you have full control of the source code. Once you get your project into eclipse you can really bring your app to life. There is another pro photographer on here - 'photoserge'(?) He's profiled here: https://www.buzztouch.com/casestudies/ Also, a lot of us have bt apps in our profiles which might give you some ideas of what you can do.
