Resizing BTA Design Menu list dynamically around content

Hi there, I was hoping to have a list of specials for each Day of the week and wanted each day's list item to be only the size necessary to hold the specials and not any bigger. That may be a little confusing. Each list item would be a day of the week. Monday would be the first list item, Tuesday would be the second, and so on. Inside of the list item would show a sort of textual list of specials for that day. If Monday has 10 specials I want it to be big enough to show all those items. If Tuesday then only has 1 special I want it to be small. Is there a way of doing this that isn't too difficult. Would it be easier to use something other than the BTA Design Menu, like HTML or just a Text display? I'm still pretty new so please explain clearly. I appreciate your help! Thanks, Max

Hi mjharris, Thanks for using The Design Menu. What you describe is not possible with this plugin because you have to set a fixed height for the rows in your controlpanel. As far as I know there is no plugin that does this out of the box. Workaround: There are may ways you could go to accomplish your goal. Example: use any menu plugin and create 7 rows - 1 for each day and call them Monday, Tuesday, etc... Point each row to an html document where you describe the details of all the specials for that specific day. Another example: Use The Blog Pro Plugin and create 7 rows - 1 for each day and call them Monday, Tuesday, etc... In the detailed description of this plugin describe the details of all the specials for that specific day. You easily add images or video to the detailed description with this plugin. Hope this helps. Best Regards, Danny

Thanks Danny, I may try the Design Menu again to list the days of the week and then use html to display the specials. That way and I can change the order of the days of the week every day to display "Today", "Tomorrow", "Sunday", etc... instead of having "Sunday", "Monday", ... , "Saturday" all the time. Thanks, Max
