Stuck in landscape orientation when going to previous screen

As described in these two threads we have managed to get specific screens to work in landscape orientation even when the whole app is restricted to work in portrait mode. 1) https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=AC9F90E72962E3E7595AAAF&command=isSearching&currentPage=1&topicTitle=orientation&createdBy=&repliedBy=&minViews=-1&maxViews=-1&minReplies=-1&maxReplies=-1&forumCategory= 2) https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=7FEB35DBB58D059354CEC04&command=isSearching&currentPage=1&topicTitle=ios%20rotation&createdBy=&repliedBy=&minViews=-1&maxViews=-1&minReplies=-1&maxReplies=-1&forumCategory= The problem that we're all stuck in, is when we press the back button if the device is still in landscape mode, the orientation is stuck in landscape although it should be in portrait mode. This happens in tab bar layout apps. Any ideas?

I think a handful of us are hacking at this. Kittsys solution (link below) is really knocking on the door of giving us a way to control rotation PER SCREEN which IMO would be the ultimate fix. I can envision a "Allow this screen to rotate?" field in the control panel just like the 'hide from search' if we can get this solved. https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=9BFDFCCE41ABBF0A6FD40B7 There seems to be something overriding the return/viewdiddissapper method of setting the BOOL to not rotate.....
