Strange. Do you have my Menu Image Advanced plugin? Wondering if the same happens for you on it?

Can add that i'm using Eclipse 4.2.2 and using google API 2.2 in my app. Don't know if that makes any difference. Maybe need to use another version of Google API? Edit: Complains about line 207 that is: /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //Header Image LinearLayout headerImageContainer = (LinearLayout) thisScreensView.findViewById(R.id.headerImageContainer); headerImageView = (ImageView) thisScreensView.findViewById(R.id.headerImageView); The line that starts with: LinearLayout.....

What is the error on that line? The Google 2.2 is right.

http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=159149D04D28CB0BF6B7DF2&currentPage=9 I found this forum post with that error description. There is a host of advice in that forum post, although the person who posted it ended up deleting the line, which I don't think is necessary. With Android, the most common problem I run into is having an image with a capital letter.

Yeah, remembered it from before to use only small letters. And that's what i have. this used to work fine before....like from January this year. has the plugin updated after that? also re-added the whole source into eclipse and this is the only issue I have.

No changes to the code, although I am working on an update for Android. So the code really does work. (The update addresses Android performance when you have a lot of images.) Here is some good advice from @raveyd from the other post: If the project can't auto generate the R file correctly it usually means there's some sort of error in the res folder. As @Susan says, check for capital letters, png vs jpg, xml errors etc. Just because you have an R error in a particular java file it doesn't mean the error is actually in that java file. Gotta love android development! The 'Problems' pane in eclipse can help identify a problem pre emulator and the 'Console' pane can help if you try to run the emulator. My usual oversight is having a jpg in the config file and a png of the same name (or vice versa) in the res>drawable folder. And always do a project>clean and android tools>fix project properties at every opportunity!

Might found a solution though here: https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=DB5EF6CA3657CFC03154BCE&fid=06DB0BCB08E3333&sortColumn=FT.id&sortUpDown=DESC&currentPage=1 I see a possible solution: So in your long list of .xml files (in the Layout folder) there is no file called screen_menulistsimple.xml. If that's the case add the Simple Menu plugin to your control panel and redownload the source code. See what you get That solved it, as I don't use at all Simple menu plugin and only "Menu with Image plugin", but still it requires "Simple menu plugin" to work. So added that plugin into the source before downloading the source and now it works fine in Eclipse. as buzztouch didn't say it wasn't a required plugin anymore, as I didn't use it. but still it was required.

That makes sense. Almost everyone has the Simple Menu plugin, so that no one caught that before. Thank you!
