NAD Advanced Quiz - Ideas for quiz discussion

Hello, BTfamily Been away for a while, but, in the background, my mind was working... So, I've had an insight this weekend. I think quizzes need space for discussion. In a professional quiz, you make users many questions, but then, sometimes, they don't agree with the correct answers you give them. I've been messing around, searching for the best way to give users a good discussion on the quizzes presented, PDFs? HTML? ...but no good answer came to my mind. But then, bingo!, I got the best plugin to discuss quizzes and it is: NAD Advanced Quiz! And how? You just have to copy the quiz json data, duplicate it (made easy if you're using the JSON Snippet Keeper) , and, instead of presenting the corrrect answer along with the incorrect answers, you put the correct answer (and name it: CORRECT ANSWER:) and, in other answer, your full discussion of the question - explaining why this is the correct answer and all the others are incorrect (and you're done). This is specially useful if you're planning professional quizzes for students, doctors, lawyers, etc... I know this is not - yet - the ideal approach to this matter but I think it is the best starting point available on BT. What do you guys think? @nadvlad: Any idea for further development? All the best, dryFrog

Having a discussion area is a great idea. Thinking of adding a modal view controller that pops up after the user answers a question. They can click done to make the pop up go away and move on to the next question. You can see this action in some of the other educational apps on the market. Also thinking about adding a button to email the developer in case the question is wrong and the user wants to notify the developer. It would need to be set up so that the itemID for the current question gets added to the email. That way the user can send the specific question to the developer. Thoughts?

I need this plugin. I have an app that does this, but it isn't a BT app and needs to be integrated. I have the Android code too. The app is pretty simple. The user chooses a answer. If the answer is wrong, the user gets a message to try again. After the user selects the right answer, the app moves to an explanation of the answer. It is more of a tutorial than a quiz. It is called, "Bible Drama Exercises". I would be happy to share the code.

The try again part doesn't sound to hard to implement. The android code would be helpful.

@Susan that sounds interesting- esp for educational stuff. an explanation of the answer is always the best way to learn. I'd love to look at that Android code and turn it into a BT screen for you that you can tinker with furthur.
