How to customize your self-host

Hi all, Did anyone try to customise your self-host server, like change icon, logo, banner etc.? I uploaded new logo.png to my self-host at .../buzztouch/images the old buzztouch logo still there, nothing changed. I triple checked the logo is the new one, but it doesn't appear anywhere in my self-host. How to customize your self-host server, anyone have a suggestion? Thanks a lot !

RaveyD made a most excellent 'theme' for BT Self Hosted. It, and many other modifications (and mod tutorials) are over at Mr. David's 'BuzzTouchMods' http://www.buzztouchmods.com Cheers! -- Smug At least, I thought it was RaveyD... I get old and forgetful as I get old and forgetful...

Thanks SmugWimp! I go there and find some related topics like: https://www.buzztouchmods.com/downloads.php?cat_id=2&download_id=36 But currently I making my app and really dont want to make a "big change", so only replace the logo will do, I guess there should be a copy\replace action will do. Read the comments of above posts I see that the changes could cause some errors, so I dont want to try it for this moment when creating new app. So if only simple step could help to change the default logo, pls help me to find out ! :)

@Toot - The logo is located at: your_bt_install/files/theme/logo.png buzzcenter - that reported error is just a path issue, Mr David will have fixed that. Apparently I did some work on the buzzcenter at one time... "I get old and forgetful as I get old and forgetful" lol! MrDavid has a very nice theme at buzztouchmods: https://www.buzztouchmods.com/downloads.php?cat_id=4&download_id=47 This is my front end mod, just a new index.php file: https://www.buzztouchmods.com/downloads.php?cat_id=2&download_id=37 They work together.

Could be that the old image is stuck in your cache as well. Try navigating to just the image in your browser (on FF you can right click on the img and select 'view image'). Then refresh.

Yes, both of you gave the right answer. I need to do both these two steps: - copy logo.png to the above path - refresh the cache For Chrome, here is how you refresh the cache: Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+Shift+F5; then reload your website, it will be there :)
