How did u get plugin to your self-host server?

I try to dowload plugin from buzztouch.com to my self-host but it took like forever for only the simple menu plugin. I m quite sure that I put my account for buzztouch.com right in the config.php (that's why it can show all the plugin when I hit install in my self-host). So is there a link to download all these simple basic plugin, then I can use FileZilla to upload them to my self-host ? Looking forward to your help !!! Thank you!

<your selfhost url>/admin/pluginsUpdate.php?addingPlugin=true&from=plugins&status=&searchInput=search...&sortColumn=P.category&sortUpDown=ASC&currentPage=1 or login to your bt self server then go > admin >Manage Plugins > Plugin Maintenance (Add, Remove, Refresh) > Download Plugins from your buzztouch.com Control Panel

To answer your second question, yes you can definitely use FTP - that can be much quicker than the web-based method of installing a plugin. Just ftp to your server and navigate to the bt-server/files/plugins folder. Then drag the unzipped plugin folder for your new plugin into that location. Be sure to hit the 'refresh plugins' button on the Admin/Manage Plugins section of your control panel after you've uploaded the plugin.

@aussiedra: That is what I already tried and it took forever to finish. Don't know why! @chris1: that sound promising, but what you mean by "ftp to your server and navigate to.." ? I will definitely try this !

You need to download an FTP program first. I recommend FileZilla. Then get the FTP login details from your hosting provider, and enter them into the FTP program to connect to your server. You'll see a its of folders. Navigate as I mentioned above.

On Buzztouch.com, click on your account. Go to installed plugins. Click on a plugin, and click on 'download self-hosted version' on the right.

I did as you suggested. Successfully uploaded to server/public_html/buzztouch/files/plugins (want to upload a screen captured here for a prove but there no such a attach image function in this forum ^^ ) but when I log-out+log-in again, Admin\refresh plugin, I got this error: "There was a problem finding the /files/plugins directory" Why is it happening ? You have any idea ?

Ps: I also tried to use "Upload Plugin Package" function and uploaded the .zip plugin. But it said "Error Saving Archive. The file archive uploaded OK but it could not be saved to the file system?", even when I empty the plugins folder content!

Ok, I figured out the way to make it works: First, I need to update this line: < define("APP_PHYSICAL_PATH", ...> in config.php how to find the physical path, need to go to your cpanel page, more detail refer to this thread: https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=2121E4C2A21C88C6BBE789A&fid=BC70C36A743CD4FAD95D17F&sortColumn=FT.id&sortUpDown=DESC&currentPage=1 After updating this, I can upload plugin using: "upload plugin package". The "install" from "Download Plugins from your buzztouch.com Control Panel" still take forever to finish, so I won't use this method! Cheers,

Glad you got it working. Check to make sure your directories are 755 too.
