New App Dev - is there a way to add rows and space between buttons?

I was looking at the config.txt file and trying to figure out how to add some customizations into the BT code. I have a button screen and I want just the first 4 buttons on the top and the rest start at row 2. I also want to put some more space between button 1 and button 2? Thanks a bunch. I really like this product and really learning alot. K

You should be able to set the spacing between the buttons, and with that (and the button image size) you can control how many buttons show up on each row. At least, that's true for iOS - for Android you won't be able to control so easy as different devices have different screen widths. Of course, if you're willing to get your hands dirty in code, then anything is possible... :)

I understand it is possible, my question is do I change it the config.txt in JSON or ? I am new to this and trying to figure out a where to look to customize my Buzztouch app. Went through all the Buzztouch how to's and some of the GoNorthwest. Lots of great info, just haven't found what I am looking for. Think I have to do it through JSON. Thanks, K

You can set the properties on the control panel for the screen. It will automatically update the JSON in the config.txt file.
