Hola! I found BT through an online course by UDEMY. I'm a ft teacher and decided to explore the path of educational apps development...Like many, I think I have great ideas that wish could be able to translate into actual apps. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a way to carry out my projects and finalize them due to the high cost of hiring a professional app developer :( So, I decided to invest a little in an online course and the bt membership. I have not background on coding, of course, and at first it seemed like that was ok...bt had it ALL set up for me. However, so far, both the udemy course and the BuzztouchU tutorials have helped with the basics...All I have for now is the screens, and I have not been able to figure out how you actually add the content to your screens! I feel stuck! And as I progress in the courses, things seem to get more complicated...starting the 2nd lesson in the IOS tutorials everything is explained as if you were a coder, but I am not! Can someone like me, with ZERO coding bk, really produce a decent app just by watching these tutorials and using the bt tools??? Or is that unrealistic? Please be honest... :)

Welcome! First of all, we're glad to have you part of the community! Most of us here came as non-developers / non-coders. And by most, I mean like 90%+ most. When I started 8 months ago, I knew some basic HTML stuff, but that was it. I struggled big time getting my first app submitted to the App Store. But now I have 5 plugins in the market with more on the way, and several apps in the App Store. Certainly, the Buzztouch University courses can be a bit overwhelming for someone starting out. That's mainly because it's trying to help both total newbies and people more advanced. But trust me - if you truly were an experienced coder, the courses would probably seem like a drag. The best thing you can do is have patience and determination. As a teacher, I'm sure you know that the hardest part about learning something new is convincing yourself that you can learn it. As far as adding content, what do you have so far? Do you have a menu screen as your home screen? Are there certain plugins you're having a hard time with? Were you able to get the app with the basic screens to load up in the simulator?

Hey, of course you can. I like to think I can make decente apps, and I have ZERO coding knowledge. Watch the vídeos, as problems appear with your apps, you post a question in the fórum, and you'l learn how to solve that problem. Its a great comunity. Have fun. Cheers. Miguel

YES YOU CAN! I started with the same skill set as you. The tool known as Buzztouch and this forum full of knowledgable people willing to help got me through my first app. That was a couple years and about 20 completed apps ago. You can do it. If you can't figure something out just post the question on here with some detail and you'll be amazed at how fast and accurate the help is. Tim

You can do it! I don't yet have an app in the market yet, but I have put screens together like you did, and I was able to get my apps running in the simulator without error. I have been able to run my apps on my android device. And just today I watched a cool tutorial on how to get my app to run on my iOS device. Step by step we can build our app to be a thing of beauty. I know I can. I'll bet you can too.
