Graphic web designer learning apps

Glad to have discovered buzztouch thru googling, After going thru the Steps 1,2,3 video intro, I was pumped up and looking forward to my first Android apps. (I don't have a Mac machine to do xcode) Getting Eclipse, JDK and SDK environment setup was no straight forward task for me.. I have very little programming background... Progress so far, layout my apps in buzztouch, a menu screen, a map plugin, 2 pages of html screen and a splash screen graphic. Downloaded the Android package and tried running it in eclipse but encounter some errors. going thru the buzztouchU videos again to see if I'm missing some steps.. going to get a mac when comes time to compile for ios.

Just don't give up. Perseverance is the key. Once you get in the habit of correctly compiling with Eclipse, you will be able to concentrate only on app creation and that is a very interesting activity indeed.

thanks for the encouragement and pointer guys : ) I deleted eclipse and run the eclipse included in adt bundle package, and somehow that eclipse works! managed to select google api 2.2 instead of android 2.2 which wasn't available in the standalone eclipse I've downloaded. did the compile and ran it in an emulator! the apps looks raw but I'm getting somewhere at least... lol will be visiting this wonderful forum more often.
