Downloading Installing Xcode and iOS

Painful growing pains. Not sure but it seems xcode from Apple is not installing or downloading, the run button is not appearing. Maybe I have an old xcode version. Could not find a tutorial or forum to help. Please help.

You can get Xcode from the Mac App Store now. The newest version requires OSX Lion (10.7). If you have an older version, its highly recommended that you get the newest version. Hope that helps, Chris

I have osx 10.8.3. Something I am doing wrong I guess. When I go to screen .xcodeproj there is no run button that opens the simulator

It is showing xcode 3.2.5. Maybe that older version is interfering.

Once Xcode is downloaded and installed, and you have the iOS SDK installed as well, then you should be able to double-click on the xcodeproj file that you downloaded from buzztouch. That will load up the project in Xcode. After that, make sure you drag any folders not already in your project into Xcode. Then hit the run button, and you should be good! Mark

Yeah, you'll want the latest version of Xcode.
