Install client apps to the store?

I was wondering what most of you do when it comes to clients apps. Do you upload the app to the store for them? Or do you give it to them and have them do it. It seems like it is easiest to upload it under your own. Thanks. -Shane

I have four policies I use: - Free - I give them the all the source code when finished. They can keep it for their use. - $15 - I will submit to my account - Free - They buy an iTunes Connect account, which I will publish to - $99 (yearly) - I will buy an iTunes Connect account for them, and set it up. This is free, in the sense that they only pay for the account and not for me setting up. But they need to keep sending me $99/year to continue. This is the price of a Developer account.

all depends if 1. the user wants to publish a free app under their name 2. the user is ok to publish a free app under my dev account 3. if its an app for sale they will have to create their own apple / google / windows account ( due to tax purposes)

I almost ALWAYS have the client buy an account. I help them step-by-step over the phone and via email, then ask for the login information so that I can submit it for them (for free). I used to post the apps on my own account until Apple gave me a nice little email telling me I had to stop, and that these businesses needed their own account (makes sense to me, apple wants that $99). Also to note: It seems the first app of any new account usually gets through no problem. So in my eyes, it's also safer that your app you made for them gets accepted into a fresh account. Apple usually gives developers their first app as a gesture of good faith that they will learn and grow. That's my assumption of course, but it's worked well for me :-) Cheers mate, David https://buzztouchmods.com

My app, my account. Their app, their account. iOS or Google. I usually help register them with both accounts. Especially if the client only has a PC. Cheers! -- Smug
