Android

Has anyone seen an John Madden football game? If you have maybe you can help. when a quaterback passes a ball to a receiver the receiver does not always catch the ball, why not. The game has variables which allow for different scenarios but how? I have studied some training David did on movement but nothing specific pops out about what I refer to in this post.It probably does but I have not got it yet. I am stoked this game and graphics are going to be exceptional. I want to take an object with java , android, and throw it to a receiver. I want to have different results each time. As my game needs to apply a successful yardage gain with a catch. I want to throw a touchdown or kick a field goal and have the object function either with a catch or a drop ball. Also, I have only seen objects move with android but I have not found any documentation that explains an object having motion such as hand or foot movement. Any ideas where I can study this? I have finished a game design and I am now making up a game on the fly. Which came first the chicken or the egg? All I know is that this will be one awesome game plugin. Anybody got a webpage for me to study at android developers site? If you think about it seems very complex but I suspect it is not. Can anyone shed some answers on this question? Joe PS can fluid movement be achieved with android development. What about a guy dribbling a basketball. Is it possible?

I believe David did a video on the bug game. It provided some randomization for the bug.I'll try to remember what one it was. -Shane

Thnaks Shane I have been looking at that. Its funny, as always it is so simple to look past something, so now I have to figure out the proper way to have a game piece move its hands. I think sprites are the answer to body movements. Not sure yet just looking into it Here is some info I found if anyone needs it http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/graphics/prop-animation.html Joe
