Registration App

Can anyone suggest the steps I need to take to create a registration page on my app. I want to have the user type in their email address and have it recorded in the data base self hosted. This has got to be extremely easy my brain is fighting me. Can I get a step by step of suggestion. I am creating for Android but if any xcode guys know the steps please send the info my way. Thanks Joe

What can we use from our existing code. I know the answer is right in front of us. I am going back to the control panel videos and see how to write to the data base

Joe - this can be done, but will require a couple of things. First, you need a plugin to handle collecting data and sending it to the cloud. My upcoming Webform Generator plugin could do this really easily, but is a couple/3 weeks out. Or you could create a simple custom screen/plugin using Interface Builder - might be better suited for your needs graphically that way too. The second thing you need is a php script to handle the data. It will have to connect in to a table on the database. If you want that to be part of the Buzztouch database, it's as simple as creating a table and sending the data to the table. If you're comfortable with php and objective-c, you should be able to knock the project out in under an hour or two, depending on how intricate your design work needs to be. If you're wanting to hire someone to do the work for you, don't spend more than $75-100 on it.
