provided it was built with Buzztouch in mind, yes. If you were to outsource it, my first suggestion would be to try and find someone from within buzztouch to accomodate your needs; no one knows buzztouch like a buzztoucher. If you try and hire someone from outside of the BT community, ensure they are familiar with the 'BuzzTouch Philosophy' with respect to plugins, php/control panel interaction, and so on. You could also, depending on your skill level, snoop through the repositories of github and google code to see if something similar has already been accomplished. Converting an existing project into a BT plugin is a bit of a challenge, but it's usually easier than creating from scratch. Hope this helps! Cheers! -- Smug

Yep - Smug's exactly right on this one. The other question to ask yourself is "do I want to use this in multiple apps?" If not, outsourcing on odesk/freelancer/etc might be your cheapest way to do it. But if you do think you'll use it on multiple apps, then you'll want a true Buzztouch plugin, and you're better off finding a Buzztouch developer to do it.

I've successfully integrated a QR code reader into a plugin. What exactly is the loyalty aspect of the reader. is it to collect points there are loads of factors with this. Does it go to a backend? Drop me a PM see waht it is you need

You'd have to explain your requirements a bit more. It can be anything from a 5 min job to lots of work. Varies largely by what you want to accomplish, just as Kittsy has said.

yeah the idea is to use it as a loyalty thing, so after so many times of scanning one qr code then the customer gets a freebie, the qr scanner keeps a record of how many scans then after i.e. 8 scans it says freebie, then restarts from the beginning thanks guys
