App Rater Plugin Not Working!

Hi I have tried to figure out why my App Rater Plugin doesn't work for iOS and have posted a thread 3/4 days ago but had no response. I have even tried contacting the developer how created it and no reply. I am getting very good feedback from people I know who have purchased my app but no can lee a review because the app rater doesn't work. Can anyone tell me if they have had similar issues with the plugin for iOS? How can I get it working? Any help is welcome!

Whats your issue with it? For it to 'totally' work your app needs to actually be in the App Store and/or Play store. I find it rather handy. Cheers! -- Smug

Hi Sumg problem solved, I can't really say what the issue is, but what I do know now is that it wouldn't work in the simulator and had I tried days ago to test it on my actual device, I would of seen that it worked. So my bad. I now have to rewrite my review in the plugin store as I gave it a 1 star. I know, but I was angry I couldn't get it to work.

You can always contact me if you can't reach the developer. I may have more contact information.

Hello, Can anyone please answer to query for me... I've just finished creating an app and was planning to add the App Rater plugin to it. Am I able to submit my app to Apple with the plugin attached, even though I don't yet have the Apple App Store URL? If yes, am I then able to implement the URL details once it's in the store (without having to submit another binary)? Or am I best waiting for it to be published on the App Store and then re-submitting it with new binary? Thank you.

No, the way it works is, you just put the plugin in your app; create a screen and fill out as much as you can. Don't put it on a menu just yet... but have it ready. Then, when your app is approved in the app store, you can 'activate' the plugin by placing it on a menu, and providing the App Store details in the plugin control panel. Then, when the user refreshes the app, the new features (App Rater) is available. Cheers! -- Smug

Excellent, thank you! I'll also test out the info @Kittsy gave on my other thread: "Your itunes link is created when you create your app in iTunes connect. Where it says View in appstore under links that will be the published address/link" Will see how it goes...
