Animated Splash Screen

Two Part Question: I bought the animated splash screen plugin and made a screen using this plugin. I then went to Global themes and selected it. Once inside it asks me to select a splash screen from the list. I go in to select my animated splash screen and its not there even know I see it in my list of screens. Whats happening here? Where do I place my pictures for the animation? Is jpg ok as well for animation pictures?

I run into the same thing. Manually enter the name of the splash screen and it should show

Hey @JayRod, If you wrote this and I over-looked it then I do apologize. This for self-hosted? LA

LA, no I'm not self hosted. I followed the directions and everything is correct. Animated splash screen is in my list of screens in control panel but will not show up as an option in Global Themes when I go to pick Splash screen. Also are pictures suppose to be png or jpg for animated splash screen sequence?

Hi @JayRod, On the pictures/images it depends if it's for Android or IPhone. Android handles png better and IPhone/Xcode I believe jpg is fine. LA

This was an issue that David fixed for self-hosted installs but I'm not sure ever got fixed for buzztouch.com users. Manually typing the nickname should work fine though.

Png or jpg both work fine. png is considered a better approach for mobile devices generally speaking.
