Being a member doesn't give you any more functionality really, unless you want to self-host. But it does allow you to create as many apps as you need and you get a significant discount on plugins. So, if you're thinking of becoming a member, you're better off doing so before buying many plugins - you don't get the discount retroactively applied. On the other hand, if you just want to use Buzztouch to create that one dream app of yours and no more, you could just stay a guest and pay the higher prices for plugins and end up saving yourself some money compared to the membership fee.
