if/else statement for bta thumbviewer?

I don't know if this kind of tweaking is allowed but Is it possible to tweak the bta thumbviewer plugin and have an if/else statement that will stop the user from going to the selected image and have an alert pop up instead? i'd like to lock some images and unlock them via easy in app purchase and i think it would be really awesome if the users can see the image in thumbview mode and have a popup alert to purchase/upgrade when they click on the images. :) thanks to Absentia (my buzztouch idol second to David) i already know how to code all the stuff regarding the easy iap. i just need to know if it's possible to have an alert in bta thumbviewer and where can i specifically put it (tried checking the xcode logs and it's just beyond my coding expertise/newbiertise).
