I don't understand self hosting

If I want to add videos and audio it now says I have to self host. I don't have a website nor would I want to do it that way. How is the easiest way to do this? I looked at the detailed instructions and they complicated to say the least. Could someone point me in the right direction. Also you could use dropbox or another cloud service to host your videos and audio.. I would start and just ask questions as you go when you get stuck.. In this case, (echoing jvalley) most 'cloud' storage solutions should work for you. There are a lot of BT apps with resources on 'dropbox' and similar services. These solutions sound more along your desires. No need to upload. Unless you want remote files, because too many audio and video files make the app too big, then you'll have to host the files somewhere, like videos on youtube or vimeo. Cheers. In a nutshell: You have two options to start with, Buzztouch.com and self-hosted. Buzztouch.com apps are great to get started, you can make a complete app but there are limitations. If you want to be serious about making apps go for self-hosted. Either way, you make your app online, download your source-code and finish it on your computer. By finish it I mean use Eclipse or X-code to add the images/documents and make it presentable for the app stores. As the guys said, if you want some content to be available online, it has to be online somewhere and that is up to you.
