Welcome to Buzztouch. I would recommend starting with the BTU lessons. In your account you'll see a section or click here if logged in: https://www.buzztouch.com/account/btu.php A series of tutorials that will help you get started right away. Post in the forum if you run into any problems!

I'd watch the webinar too. along with the bt university lessons. I built my first app last weekend, after spending days trying to figure out the code signing and certificates stuff. The webinar would have helped had I watched it first. My app got rejected for being too simple, but that was okay . . . I went back and added more plug-ins and features to it, and resubmitted it today.

Is there any way I can access old webinars to get started? I watched all the Buzztouch U videos and thought I had a good understanding until I got into this?

Mark, maybe its because I been at x-code for a couple of weeks and lost. I was hoping to get on here and now am stressed because I'm overwhelmed. I watched the videos, but If I really want to accomplish anything of substance I have to self-host. I don't have a website nor do I want to get one. Is there an easy way to do this all? Suggestions.

You'll have to be a bit more specific on what you can't accomplish at buzztouch.com that you think you can in self-hosted. In either case, all your source code is available to you for modification if necessary. You can link to media files at buzztouch.com via URL, like you would a website. To be honest, I'm not really sure what you can't do that you could do with self-hosted! Provide us some specific questions, and we'll get them answered. Mark

Sorry guys had to take breather, sorry if I came across bad. Let me be more specific. Is there anyway to add videos without being self-hosted or linked to a URL? I'm building an educational app and have a collection of short videos I would like to put in this app. Suggestions on the best way to do this.

Hi JayRod, It's all good! Have you explored the AT53 Video Player plugin? Here's the description of what it does, and it does it for both Android and iOS : "Play videos natively in iOS or Android with the AT53 Video Player. Videos can be stored locally in the app or downlaoded from a URL. Add description text and a video thumbnail for professional results." That should be exactly what you're looking for? Mark

Thanks Mark! That is actually what I'm looking for. I'll dive into a bit more tonight and tomorrow to see if I can hack a bit of it out. Thanks again for your help!
