Tip Calculator

Didn't see much chatter about this nice simple little utility. very nice work @Applejuice, love the UIPickerView code with the array. lots of great uses for that code. Thanks! :) <a href="https://www.buzztouch.com/plugins/plugin.php?pid=EF2A12964157BB0341E16CC" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://www.buzztouch.com/plugins/plugin.php?pid=EF2A12964157BB0341E16CC</a> Unfortunately the leave review function isn't working. Once they get that working I'll make sure to leave a review.

This is a must have plugin for any apps focused on restaurants or locations. It comes with a really nice background that makes your app look great, although you can use your own artwork if you prefer.

Just bought and installed the plugin. All I'm getting though is a blank screen and the iphone simulator (6.1) hangs. Am I missing anything? Mike

Hello Mike, thanks for purchasing the plugin. I've checked the plugin on my side on both 6.0 and 6.1 simulator, everything seems to work properly. I did a fresh download from the BT server, and a new build in Xcode. May I ask what version of Xcode are you running? I'm on the latest one. (4.6.2)

Yep 4.6.2. Think I may have found a problem. The plug in shows up in buzztouch as being downloaded but I don't see a folder or files in the BT Plugins folder in Xcode. Should there be? Mike

Yes, inside the BT-Plugins folder you should have a folder called gr_tip_calculator. inside the folder you should have the Gr_tip_calculator.h, Gr_tip_calculator.m and the Gr_tip_calculator.xib. you don't have any of them?

Hello Mike, just checking in with you. Were you able to figure out what was the problem?

None of the files are in the BT-Plugins folder. So.... how would I get them?

That's very strange, I will have to take it above me, and talk to the BT crew. If you send me your email in a private message, I could send you the files that you need to include in your project if you like.

I just tried downloading the packages in Android and iOS, and the GR Tip Calculator files are included in the package. So it seems to be working fine. After you add a new plugin, you have to download a fresh plugin package in order for the new code to be compiled into your project. If you get the files directly from the developer you will need to correct the appDelegate name in the files, or it will have errors. Has anyone else had a problem with the files being included in the package?

Is there anyway I can download again without having to re-buy?

You don't have to rebuy the plugin. It is yours forever! If you haven't done so already, you just need to redownload your project so that the plugin files get included. When you go to download your project, that is part of the BT magic. The BT packaging process sets up your project with all of your plugins and links everything together for you. In most cases, you download your project, click on the .xcodeproj folder, drag in the plugins, and the it works.

Hello Susan, thanks for pitching in, I was going to send you an email asking to test the plugin for me, but I see that you've done that already! Thank you! The files I sent Mike were already modified. @Buzzlightbeer, keep us updated please. Thank you!
