I went and bought a brand new mac and installed eclipse. When I try to open the program, I get a error that says "Eclipse quit unexpectedly." Anyone know whats going on here? Lol. Not sure actually, runs fine on my iMacs, not sure that's ever happened to me. I'd just be sure all the Mac core software is up to date (right click on Apple icon - top left of toolbar then Software Update), restart it and reinstall Eclipse. Which version of Eclipse are you trying to install? I use Helios but I think several people here use later versions without problem.
