Scringo Questions

Hey, I'm testing out Scringo downloaded with the BT source code package. I have two issues, the localizable strings are all messed up, I just get ? and other stuff... is this just me? In the Scringo control panel, I activate the adds and the more apps feature, but nothing happens. What can I be missing? Thanks. Miguel

Its not just you. I sent an email to David 5 days ago without a response. I guess once it is packaged the code gets distorted. I have deleted that portion from xcode and replaced it with the correctly formatted copy in the scringo zip file. It will look like every other string file and you'll be able to edit. Also, if you want to use your localized copy you'll have to advance and click client overides Server setting for localized. After that you will have to manually The custom tab you added is not showing the String you defined in the developers zone - this is because you switched the override strings configuration to True (in the advanced tab). This causes Scringo to use default tab names translations. It works fine for all 'in-house' tabs but not for the custom tabs as we have no idea what their names might be. Hence, we look for a string called "scringo_text_<custom button name>_tab_title" in ScringoLocalizable.strings resource files. In your case we don't find it so we present the string we look for. To make it work you should either switch the override strings configuration back to False or add the abovementioned string with adequate values to ScringoLocalizable.strings files. then: just make sure to replace <custom button name> with the tab name you defined in the developers zone. ex: scringo_text_yourcustombuttongname_tab_title i hope that helps.

Thanks mspsp. I'm not referring to costume buttons, I'm referring to scringo's App Deals button. Thanks.

@MadRod did you ever get the "more apps" tab working? I'm trying to get this working also.
