So true! This will be a great plugin for social games. For example, you could have a challenge that required a user to go to 10 specific places, and send back evidence via the plugin SMS or email. When they finished the challenge they could win a prize. It could be used for a scavenger hunt as well. Read Reality is Broken by Jane McGonigal to get game ideas. Because it works on Android and iOS, it will work on 95% of smartphones.

Awesome stuff. Lots of Practical and FUN uses beyond the Emergency aspect of it. That Android screen shot looks great. I smell a webview and some option buttons to explore. Mint. I am still yet to use this plugin. I get the same app paused and crash every time I try to open it in my app. Smug, a ill help when you get a minute. Thanks @ Outbreak, were you having problems as well at one time? If so, what did you do to fix your issues.

@Rad Doc, sorry, I just noticed this. I don't know if you're on Android or iOS. Either way, the 'pause and crash' always seemed to be when a network was not enabled. You'll also need to have the "GPS" turned on. This is done in the 'core' section of your BT control panel. Make sure your Wifi is operational, and that you have location services turned on. then you 'should' be good, but don't hesitate to yell if you still have issues. But be a bit more descriptive in your error sequences so I can have a better idea of what/where the issue is/resides. Cheers! -- Smug

can you confirm that all files and references are the same? Basically what we are going to need to confirm is that all files and references match the spelling and case of the msgloc listing in the BT_Config.txt file. When I created the plugin, I used all lower case (sw_smugmsgloc) however I have found that the BT server tends to create files with a beginning upper case (Sw_smugmsgloc). So you need to find out what it is being called within the BT_config.txt file, and ensure that all of the files and references match, so that they all jive on compile. Let me know. Cheers! -- Smug
