What should I do?

So Im racking my brain as to what apps I want to create. And I have a few ideas.. however I have one idea in particular thats kind of been the idea that brought me here. Its an app that I could not build my self I would need help to make it come together. The problem is that my app idea is a real novelty app, the idea is really out there! Its an idea that I think could ether be very successful or fail miserably. Depending on how much it would cost to get ti coded I would love to do it. My problem and my issue is that the idea is very out there and has heavy sexual connotations. But no real sexual content will be displayed in the app its just extremity graphically suggestive. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea and if Im going to be absolutely honest its not really mine. However the idea just seams really good and I can see it be quite popular. Im scared I would invest allot of my time and money into making this app come to life just to be rejected by the Apple store because of the suggestive content on the app. Its troubling my brain this.. what should I do? Make my app come to life and risk getting rejected (From the apple app store) and if so.. what other avenues do I have to sell my app? Is it worthwhile perusing?

Hey @Don_Dada, I would recommend creating a few simple Apps first, then you will know the process and the journey of creating an App. After a few Apps, you will know if this particular App is worth pursuing. LA

I agree with LA.. When i first came here i had some great ideas. Only to find out i didnt know how to even load a app into xcode or eclipse. I then decided to just do a very simple android app and get it on google play and go from there. After i saw the final product i was able to build some thing a little nicer and bigger. I then worked on my first ios app and got rejected twice for simple in app errors. I have learned from this and again started to work on something bigger. Yesterday, I had a idea and played around with the new RSS plugin and the carousel plugin, implemented scringo. I was able to make a app from a small idea in about 4 hours and get it shipped to apple with my vision. Its on a timeline for something coming up so i had to act quickly. If approved i will be able to work on the same concept for something bigger. Start small and learn... Then go big. its the baby steps that will pay off in the end. Jim

You guys are right. I will hold onto my idea still work towards making it happen. But concentrate on creating some smaller easier apps my self. But it has to be something that I feel inspired to do so I push my self to learn. What other option should I get cracking with? OPTION 1, A business app that has a contact form (email), information about the company, pdf catalog of our products. But also a button that sets off the devices vibration signal. Possibly also a trivia game integrated. OPTION 2, This is the app that is most urgent to me. The app is a privet app for a network of consultants here they will be able to access info, pdf catalog but most importantly be able to be notified via push notifications about current specials and other info. Would these apps be a good starting point? (the second option more urgent then the first) And is it possible to create an app for a business that is for everyone and get it accepted to the apple app store? And how would I distribute a private app? Is it as easy as creating the app and then upploading it to my server for ppl to download? Kind Regards Abriel

Hi @Don_Dada, I was given advice by an old (@GoNorthWest lol) wise man one time to follow your passion when creating an App. I must say his advice holds very true to me to this day. You can create a simple App using the pdf catalog first, then try the push notifications, and both will give you some experience with problem-solving and testing. After you feel your good with those two then add more features to the App. Hope this helps some. LA

Sorry could someone just answer the question. Is it possible to crate and ISO/Android app that will be distributed privately. Is it just a matter of uploading the app to my server and then ppl can just download the app to there smart devices from my website?

OK, hm...sorry what does the certificates entail? Does the app need to be approved by apple? If not.. can it be uploaded to my website and downloaded from an iphone onto device?
