Bundle ID

In the final stages of preparing the app for submission and when I validate the archive, I'm getting "The BundleID com.mlpsteel.com defined in your Xcode project does not match the bundle ID that you entered for this app in iTunes Connect." Where do I go to change the bundle ID in Xcode so that it matches or is it easier to change it in iTunes Connect? Thanks! Judy

Hi Judy, In Xcode you can Double Click your project name then "Targets" then you should see the "Summary" tab with your Bundle ID. Pic of what you are looking for https://dl.dropbox.com/u/39276137/Xcode%20Summary.png Keep us posted! ian

Ian is right on! Here's also a document that you can use for future reference: https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/Submitting_Your_App_To_iTunes_Connect_v1.0.pdf Mark

I'm still receiving the error message. According to iTunes Connect, the ID is MLP -* and the suffix is 8100. No matter what combination I try in Xcode, it does not match. The bundle ID in Xcode is com.mlpsteel.com. So close yet feel so far... Judy

In Xcode- under the info tab (I think), try clicking on the com.mlpsteel.com and changing it to whatever so that it matches the bundle identifier in the member's center. That was what I had to change to get my first app to upload yesterday.
