Hi, I used this plugin to play my video on youtube. It's work great!!!. but the video images , i mean video image/Poster not show on my device. i uploaded images in to the server and put that image to BT_DOCS in eclipse project. It's still not show now. Please advice, Thank you in advance. Satit P.

Hi,Thanks for using my plugin. Oh! And about the images you did it a little wrong you don't need to do both the things. 1)Just take your images and put them in res>drawable folder 2)In your control panel and enter the name of the image. Advice : Try keeping the image in png and the name only in letters and not in capitals. Is it possible! 1. how can i change the caption "Play Video" on the button to my language. 2. if i want to playing the video after select the menu. don't want to wait for user press <Play Video> button. BTW: i notice that this plugin can not play video from youtube which mark embedded now allow. Thank very much again. Satit P.

Hi, for 2 ,Its quite not possible as i have to code all of it again.:) For the "play video" , Instead of that you can use an image like a play button. Just follow this tutorial: https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=05CC7FC4CC14A7B10F0FED8 And can you expain a bit more which type of videos it doesnt play? I know it can't play live videos.

Yes, You tutorial very useful. Now i'd change my background with your play button. it's look professional. if you have a new tutorial pls let me know. if some guy post youtube video with click embeded not allow. this plugin can not play. the problem not come for your plugin but from that guy. Hi @satit, if you are comfortable with digging into the Youtube plugin code you can easily make the video play after selecting from the menu. bypassing the <Play Video> button. Let me know if you'd like help with it. ian

This should bypass the <Play Video> button. 3 steps. 1. Open the Sp_android_youtube.java file in Eclipse. 2. Scroll down to approximately line 132 where it says: //flag as created.. didCreate = true; 3. just below this replace lines 134 to 156 with the following code: /* //add button to the screen to launch OpenYouTubePlayerActivity.... Ha! Lots of trial and error! I am definitely more of a hacker than coder but just google android tutorials. Get comfy with the Android life cycle. That will help u understand what is happening in the code. Cheers! Ian
